Is it Hospital Grade?
Yes. At 300 mmHg peak power, the MammaBump Luna® Pump is labeled as hospital-grade and is as efficient as a wired pump.
It features 3 modes and 12 levels of intensity. The suction value in expression mode ranges from 120 to 300 mmHg, while in stimulation mode, it ranges from 30 to 180 mmHg.
Will it fit my breast & how to find your flange size?
Yes, the MammaBump Luna® Pump is designed to accommodate any cup size. The critical factor is nipple size, but don't worry!
At MammaBump, we embrace all nipple sizes. The Luna® Pump includes a standard 24mm flange, a nipple ruler to help you find the right size, and inserts ranging from 17mm to 21mm to accommodate a variety of nipple sizes.
You can purchase additional flange or insert sizes here.
To determine the best flange size for you, please refer to our size guide.
Will it leak if I bend over?
No. The MammaBump Luna® Pump will not leak unless you flip it upside-down!
How to clean breast pump accessories?
To clean your breast pump parts, we recommend simply using warm, soapy water with a soft cloth or brush. Ensure all parts are completely dry before using your pump.
Breast pump parts are only in contact with breast milk, which is sterile, so they don’t require sterilizing (unless specifically instructed by a medical professional).
The pump motor contains electronics that should be kept dry. A clean, damp cloth can be used to clean the pump motor. Any other cleaning method will be considered misuse under the warranty.
How does the warranty work?
Our breast pump comes with a 2-year warranty. This warranty covers any manufacturing defects or issues that may occur from the date of purchase.
If you encounter any problems with your breast pump within this period, please contact our customer support team at support@mammabump.com.
Is The Luna© Wearable Breast Pump covered by insurance?
Yes, under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), all accredited insurance plans must provide coverage for essential health benefits, including maternity and newborn care.
Generally, major insurance plans cover breast pumps, pregnancy compression and belly bands, and breastmilk storage bags. However, it is essential to contact your insurance provider to understand the specifics of your policy, including the maternity products you are eligible for and the process to acquire them.
