Good To know
Why is this bundle right for me?
This bundle is for mums recovering from a cesarean birth who want care that's actually made for what their body just went through.
C-section recovery asks different things of your body than vaginal birth does. Your scar needs patience and gentle care. Your abdominal wall needs time and soft support. Your lower belly needs moments of cool relief, then warmth. And the briefs you live in for those early weeks need to be soft enough not to press on your incision.
This bundle brings those four pieces together in one place, in the order you'll actually use them.
When can I start using each product in the bundle?
Your C-section recovery doesn't happen all at once, and and this bundle is designed to support you at each stage.
Here's when each product fits best into your routine.
Postpartum Soothing Brief — From day one. Soft, high-waisted, and designed not to press on your incision. Most mums live in these for the first few weeks.
Perineal Hot & Cold Therapy Pack — From day one. Cool it for gentle relief around your incision, or warm it to soothe afterpains. Apply for up to 20 minutes at a time.
Postpartum Belly Band — Around 2 weeks postpartum, once your incision has begun to close. Start with short sessions and build up as your body tells you it's ready.
C-Section Silicone Scar Strips — Once your incision is fully closed and healed, usually around 4-6 weeks after surgery. Always follow your healthcare provider's guidance.
Each product has its own moment, but they're designed to layer. By around six weeks postpartum, most mums are using all four together as part of their daily recovery rhythm.
Every C-section recovery is different. Always listen to your body.
Will the belly band press on my incision?
No, and this is one of the most common worries we hear. The belly band uses gentle, adjustable compression. You can start loose and tighten as your body allows. Most mums find it actually feels reassuring around their incision, not uncomfortable. Many describe it as feeling "held together" for the first time since surgery.
If anything pulls or pinches, loosen the velcro. Comfort guides compression, not the other way around.
Does silicone really help C-section scars?
Yes. Medical-grade silicone is widely recognised as one of the most effective approaches to scar care. It helps hydrate the scar tissue, reduce the look of redness, and soften raised scars over time. Consistent use over 8-12 weeks is what delivers the most visible change.
Can this help with a "C-section shelf"?
The C-section shelf, the fold of skin and tissue that sits above the scar, is something a lot of mums worry about, often more than the scar itself. The honest answer: some of it eases over time as your body heals, and some of it doesn't. The belly band helps with gentle abdominal support and posture, the briefs help you feel held through the transition, and the scar strips help with the scar itself. These aren't a quick fix for how your body looks. They're tools for how it feels while it changes.
I'm already a few months post-C-section. Is it too late to use this bundle?
Not at all. Silicone scar strips can be used on older scars, with 12-24 weeks of consistent use for visible results. The belly band and briefs offer support and comfort well beyond the first few weeks, and many mums use both long into their postpartum. It's never too late to start caring for your body.
Is this bundle safe while breastfeeding?
Completely. All four products are external and safe to use throughout the postpartum and breastfeeding period. Nothing in the bundle interferes with milk supply or contact with baby.
