Can a Manual Silicone Pump replace an electric breast pump?
No, the MammaBump Silicone Breast Milk Saver is not designed to replace an electric breast pump. While it’s excellent for collecting milk from the breast you’re not nursing on or for catching letdown during feeding, it doesn’t provide the same consistent suction or milk extraction as an electric pump.
However, it’s a great complement to an electric pump, especially our wearable breast pump, The Luna, which we recommend as your main breast pump. You can use the Silicone Breast Milk Saver to catch additional milk while pumping or breastfeeding, ensuring no drop goes to waste!

When placed securely on your breast, the Silicone Breast Milk Saver forms a gentle, airtight seal, creating a natural vacuum that collects breastmilk from the side you’re not nursing on. Simply squeeze the pump, position it over your breast, and release to create the seal. This gentle suction makes it easy to catch every precious drop while you feed your baby on the other side.

Yes! For short-term storage, the Silicone Breast Milk Collector can safely store your milk using the silicone stopper and lid combination.
